Jesse Culp Locke- Civil War Officer   August 28th, 2009

Serving as part of the Confederacy was the high point of J.C. Locke’s life! This painting was actually done thirty years after the war ended. One of his sons, Leopold Locke, wrote a letter that can be seen in the August Locke Family Newsletter, found elsewhere in the blog.

Vann,

I added an image to your post on Jesse Culp by doing the following:

Clicked on Edit post
next to Upload/Insert I clicked on the first square “add an image”
On the next screen, the tabs at the top, I selected media library (since you had uploaded it)
Next to the picture for jesse i clicked on show
then clicked on File URL
Then insert into Post
and
save all changes

Sounds complicated, but one you do it, it is pretty easy…

Let me know if this helped.
